Sarawak Region
The Hasanah Social Enterprise Fund (HSEF) 2026 is a national funding initiative by Yayasan Hasanah to financially support social enterprise so that they may deliver meaningful social and environmental impact.
As the Sarawak Ecosystem Partner, Sarawak Digital Economy Corporation (SDEC) encourages eligible social enterprises across Sarawak to apply and scale their solutions for greater community impact.

The HSEF grant can be used for organisational
development and programme management. The funds
may be allocated for the following.

Improve or develop your products and services through research, design, testing, and innovation to better address social or environmental needs
Scaling and
Expansion
Grow your operations to reach more customers or beneficiaries – including expanding to new locations, increasing production, hiring talent, or investing in technology and infrastructure.

Is Your Business in These Critical Sectors?
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Be a registered business entity under PBT/LHDN, SSM, or a Co-operative under SKM.
- At least 6 months in operation in Sarawak.
- Have clear and measurable social and/or environmental goals.
- More than 30% of annual revenue is commercially earned (As opposed to via contribution, donation, and grant funding).
- Be directly responsible for the preparation, implementation and management of the project.
- Possess a track record of working or partnering with target communities.
APPLICATION PROCESS
SUBMIT APPLICATION
- Apply online via the SDEC-supported Temelio platform
SCREENING & SHORTLISTING
- Application will be assessed based on eligibility and impact potential on a rolling basis
PITCHING SESSION
- Shortlisted applicants will pitch their proposal on an online platform
DUE DILIGENCE & AWARD
- Final evaluation and grant award by Yayasan Hasanah
