SEBUYAU, 5 APRIL 2024 – In the spirit of Ramadan, the Ministry of Utility and Telecommunication Sarawak (MUT) and Sarawak Digital Economy Corporation (SDEC) came together to organise the ‘Majlis Ziarah Ramadan dan Program Tanggungjawab Sosial’ today at Masjid Darul Redzuan, Kampung Sg. Ladong, Sebuyau.

Led by Minister of Utility and Telecommunication Sarawak, YB Dato Sri Haji Julaihi bin Haji Narawi and Chief Operating Officer of SDEC, Puan Malseni Jamal, the event was attended by approximately 200 representatives from the Ministry and SDEC as well as villagers from Kampung Sg. Ladong.

The highlight of the event was the distribution of food baskets to 55 Asnaf recipients, providing essential sustenance to those in need. This was followed by the handover of donations to the mosque and breaking fast with YB Dato Sri Haji Julaihi and other representatives from the Ministry and SDEC. The event concluded with evening prayers, including Maghrib, Isyak, and Tarawih, further fostering a sense of unity and spirituality among all attendees.

MUT and SDEC look forward to carrying out more Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities together to make positive differences in the lives of the underprivileged community.
