Sarawak Digital Mall is a joint initiative between Sarawak Digital Economy Corporation (SDEC) and the Ministry of International Trade, Investment, & Industry Sarawak (MINTRED), aiming to empower Sarawakian MSMEs to thrive in the digital marketplace. Through our collaboration with TikTok Shop, Sarawak Digital Mall provides comprehensive seller incubation training, sales incentives, and promotional support to Sarawakian MSMEs in the platform, to accelerate e-commerce adoption and growth within the state.

OBJECTIVES

Awareness

To raise awareness on e-Commerce adoption among Sarawak sellers and enable them to drive the digital economy using the latest e-Commerce tools, features, and trends.

Support

To empower and kickstart the Sarawak sellers' e-commerce journey by providing stimulus package such as discount vouchers, Ads Credit, post boosting, and more.

Growth

To ensure scalability and sustainability of the sellers' growth via personal coaching, clinics, tech support, and other capability-building activities like seller missions and livestreaming competition in the platform.

Sarawak Digital Mall is a joint initiative between the Sarawak Digital Economy Corporation (SDEC) and the Ministry of International Trade, Investment, & Industry Sarawak (MINTRED). The program aims to empower Sarawakian MSMEs to thrive in the digital marketplace by providing seller incubation training, sales incentives, and promotional support through collaboraiton with notable e-Commerce platforms. This year, Sarawak Digital Mall is in collaboration with TikTok Shop.

  1. Step 1: Join our FREE Seller Incubation Training session delivered by the TikTok Shop team. Check out our training schedule on this website for upcoming sessions.
  2. Step 2: Receive tech support, seller tips, and discover current trends through the dedicated Telegram support group upon completion of the seller incubation training. Complete seller missions given by TikTok Shop in your Seller Center to earn Ads Credit and Discount Vouchers for your products.
  3. Step 3: You will automatically get on boarded to the nationwide TikTok Shop digital campaign, boosting your shop’s visibility and giving you a chance to become Sarawak’s TikTok Shop Icon.

The program is open to all Sarawak-owned businesses, based in Sarawak.

It is not compulsary for the participating sellers to have a registered business. However, non-registered sellers who have signed up their TikTok Shop account using their Identification Card (IC) can only claim up to RM2,500 worth of Seller Stimulus Package. Meanwhile, sellers with a registered business and have signed up their TikTok Shop account using their business license will be able to claim the full amount of Seller Stimulus Package worth up to RM5,000.

Throughout the campaign period untill December 2025, participating sellers are encouraged to register their business either through SSM, LHDN, or Sarawak DO/RO to quality for the RM5,000 Stimulus Package.

Attending the Seller Incubation Training or the webinar is required in order to be included in the Telegram support group and to officially participate in the Sarawak Digital Mall program. If committing for a full-day training is not convenient, you may opt to join one of our 2-hours bi-weekly webinar to get funneled into the Telegram support group.

Participants will receive:
– Access to a stimulus package including TikTok Shop discount vouchers and Ads Credit.
– Tech support and seller tips via a dedicated Telegram support group.
– Opportunities to participate in capability-building activities like seller missions and livestreaming competitions.
– Gain more visibility and market access via nationwide Sarawak Digital Mall campaign on TikTok.

No, joining the Sarawak Digital Mall program is completely free for eligible Sarawakian MSMEs.

c) TikTok Shop Prohibited Products Policy & Guideline
d) Short-form videos
e) Livestreaming & Liveselling

The Sarawak Digital Mall digital compaign is a dedicated microsite on the TikTok Shop app that will boost your shop’s visibility on the TikTok platform. Throughout the campaign period from July 2024 to December 2025, the microsite will receive multiple coverage and entry points on the app during special campaigns to direct more users and potential customers to your product.

By actively participating in the Sarawak Digital Mall program, utilizing the training, support, and promotional opportunities provided, you increase your chances of becoming Sarawak’s TikTok Shop Icon. This title is awarded to sellers who demonstrate exceptional growth and engagement on the TikTok Shop platform.
