Sarawak networking luncheon fosters collaboration among international key players

BARCELONA, 27 FEBRUARY 2024 – The Sarawak Government hosted a Networking Luncheon at Círculo Ecuestre in Barcelona, Spain, in conjunction with the Mobile World Congress 2024 (MWC 2024), creating a dynamic platform for international key players, investors, and government officials to explore collaboration opportunities. The event brought together a diverse array of industry leaders in an atmosphere conducive to networking and relationship-building.

During the event, Minister for Utility and Telecommunication Sarawak YB Dato Sri Haji Julaihi bin Haji Narawi delivered an inspiring speech highlighting Sarawak’s digital economy agendas and commitment to digital transformation. The Minister emphasized the seamless connectivity that Sarawak provides for businesses looking to establish a presence in the heart of Southeast Asia.

The Networking Luncheon served as an invaluable platform for attendees to build relationships and explore potential collaborations in a relaxed atmosphere over a meal. Among the distinguished guests were Jordi Pol Ramon, Chairman of Malaysian-Spanish Chamber of Commerce; Francesc Domingo, CEO and Founder of MTi; Ignasi Vilajosana, CEO and Founder of Worldsensing; Jordi Priu, CEO of MMM; John Munevar, CEO of Pescar; and other representatives including Sarawak Digital Economy Corporation (SDEC) Chief Executive Officer Ir.
