TAIPEI, TAIWAN, 29 OCTOBER 2025 – The Sarawak Digital Economy Corporation (SDEC) proudly announces the successful participation of five distinguished Sarawakian social enterprises in the Social Enterprise World Forum (SEWF) 2025, held in Taipei. The forum, which took place from 29th to 30th October, served as a premier global platform for connection and collaboration within the social impact sector.
The Malaysian delegation to SEWF 2025 was a significant collaborative effort, organised by organised by Institut Keusahawanan Negara (INSKEN), Chamber of Social Entrepreneur Development (CSED) and Biji-biji Initiative, supported by strategic partners including the Ministry of Cooperative and Entrepreneurship Development (KUSKOP), Asia School of Business, Sabah Creative Economy and Innovation Centre (SCENIC), and SDEC. This initiative underscored a shared national commitment to fostering a robust social enterprise ecosystem and promoting international collaboration.

A central highlight of the forum was the Malaysia Pavilion, hosted at the prestigious Songshan Cultural and Creative Park. The pavilion served as a dynamic showcase for Malaysia’s innovative social enterprises, with a dedicated focus on the unique offerings from Sarawak.
The five Sarawakian enterprises, supported by SDEC, were:
- Landik
- Heart Treasure
- Illustrato Studio
- Sluvi
- Worming Up
Through their participation, these enterprises gained invaluable exposure, connected with a global network of peers and impact investors, and explored significant opportunities for cross-border partnerships and market expansion.
Dato Ir. Ts. Sudarnoto Osman, CEO of SDEC, emphasized the strategic importance of this initiative, stating, “The participation of our homegrown social enterprises in a world-class forum like SEWF is a strategic step in actualising the digital and entrepreneurial aspirations of the Sarawak Digital Economy Blueprint 2030.
